AUTOMATION
For years, the manufacturing industry has been morphing due to the benefits of automation, and now engineering is poised for the same benefits. Most design and analysis packages have scripting languages integrated into the design environment (AutoLISP in AutoCAD, VBA in CATIA, APDL in ANSYS), or have a well-documented API for developing customized applications which interface with their package.
simulation
SIMULATION
RBC specializes in developing code including compiled applications that demand computational power and parallel solvers. RBC has experience with solving numerical systems (eg. DNS), discrete event simulations for process optimization, and agent-based simulations for AI topics including planning.

daq
DAQ AND CONTROL SYSTEMS
RBC builds data acquisition (DAQ) and control systems (SCADA), with options for data logging, remote communications, and software intefacing. For specialized hardware, the manufacturer's SDK/API can be used to interface with any software package in order to monitor instrumentation and provide feedback to controlling hardware.

cax
CAx TOOLS
RBC has broad experience with many engineering software tools including CAD, CAM, and CAE. RBC is not affiliated with any particular engineering software vendor, so you can be sure that the optimal software will be selected for your application.
